2. Purpose

These terms govern the purchase of contemporary art and craft pieces of the Embera Katío people through this platform. By completing a purchase, the customer declares having read and accepted these terms.

All pieces are contemporary craftsmanship handmade by living artisans. No archaeological pieces or cultural heritage goods are sold (Colombian Law 397 of 1997).

3. Prices and payment

Prices are expressed and charged in US dollars (USD). Conversions to other currencies shown on the site are approximate, non-binding references.

Payment is processed through Stripe. The platform does not store card data.

4. International shipping and duties (DDU)

Orders ship from Colombia under DDU terms (Delivered Duty Unpaid): prices do NOT include import duties, taxes or customs fees of the destination country. Those charges, if any, are the buyer's sole responsibility.

5. Right of withdrawal and payment reversal

The customer may exercise the right of withdrawal within five (5) business days following delivery, under article 47 of Colombian Law 1480 of 2011. The procedure is detailed on the “Right of withdrawal” page.

6. Handmade nature of the pieces

Each piece is handmade: variations in color, shape and texture are not defects but inherent characteristics of craftsmanship. Pieces marked as decorative are not intended for food use.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, in particular Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute).
